This is a brand NEW youth service organised by some the young people and youth leaders at All Saints, Lightwater and St John’s Windlesham. Anyone and everyone is welcome at the youth service, and this might be something you want to support the young people with your presence. Although the service is aimed at young […]

Today my bible in a year plan had me in 1 Kings 11 &12. It’s the end of King Solomon’s story and it was a bit of an eye opener. After having dedicated his life to God, after having asked for nothing but to be a wise king (and done a great job with God’s […]
Bringing the Good News relevantly to young people in Surrey Heath and local areas through schools work and supporting local churches.
CYFC at a glance.
We believe that prayer is powerful! We recognise that for the work of CYFC to make a difference to our community, we need God's help.
This year we begin #Pray365 – A whole year of prayer where we, and the YFC family, commit to interceding before God for young people in Camberley and the surrounding areas each day, whilst growing the discipline of prayer and fasting. We are committed to lift the work of CYFC to God in prayer.
“CYFC volunteers come into Gordon’s School each week and we visit the houses. They chat naturally with the students and their faces have become well known within the school. They show God’s love through the way they connect with the young people about youth culture and what it means to be a Christian. CYFC have also taken RS lessons and run Christian Unions.
I really enjoy working with them. For me they bridge the age gap and bring a fresh approach. They show that being a Christian is for young, fun people and is ‘cool’.”
“The support and help CYFC staff provide to Kings International College is invaluable. I have always found the staff to be very amenable, professional and willing to listen and help our young people. They provide much support to our young people in the form of group work, one to one sessions, in classroom situations and also outreach work during lunch and brunch in our Cyber cafe. The CYFC team have built up good rapport with our students.”
“Kings International College hosted Prayer Space for a week in 2017. This enabled students from all year groups to take part in a range of thought provoking activities. The calm, non-judgmental atmosphere gave students time to pause and reflect on issues such as dreams & self-worth. The response from both staff and students was overwhelmingly positive, with many students asking if we could run the activities again! As Head of Religious Studies I would recommend Prayer Space to other schools and colleges as an enriching educational experience.”
